I'm a Christian (or I believe I am). I used to have a lot of faith in God back in 2005 because I went to a Gospel Camp and everything and I prayed almost everyday. But now, I don't have much faith in him and in fact, I kind of doubt he's there. Oh wells, I don't really believe in anything else but him so I guess I'm a Christian, probably just not the very religious kinds I guess. =)
I'm buddhist, pretty much at least. I add my own opinions and values to the way I take action and the way i see fit. I read lots of books on my religion, but also other religions. I'm interested in religions. BBRain provided me with deep insight into Tibetan Bhuddism. I've read bibles. Sorry but I don't understand the al-quran. I like reading up on religious legends and myths too. Pagan gods of viking and norse is very interesting. What I don't like is christians (no offense) who force people to join their event, and get people to admit they're interested in christianity by saying "i accept jesus" or the sort, then immediately schedule a time and place to baptise you. I mean, i accept Jesus as the son of god in christianity, as a savior to the christians, but they dun have to be so persistant for me to join. Plus wat's the point of an immediate baptism when your mind hasn't even fully digested the fact to wat you're deciding?
^ The majority I met were like that. I just like joining such christian events to get a better insight of the religion.
That really sucks... i think they were trying to hardsell their church rather than truely wanting you to have a relationship with God.
Ohh well I guess I'm the only muslim here!! To you who thinks that muslims are more religouse, well let me tell you, not very true. especially muslims in Europe. I was born in Bosnia where more than 50% are muslims, and raised in Sweden. I dont see my self as religous, because i dont pray to God five times a day. But I do belive in Allah and I allways will. I dont cover my body up, I like to wear skirts. But all the muslims that I know are not really religouse. WHen people meet me for the first time they allway think that i am swedish or muslim, because i'm blond with blue eyes. I respect all religions and I think that every person has the right to belive in what they want to belive.
I'm Atheist yet, I saw Dalia Lama at Pearson Airport lol -tongue2 Must mean something there if I saw Dalia Lama -unsure
i'm an atheist no doubt on that. i personally hate people who try to convert me. I've been to different churches and most of the churches i've been to would try to convert my religion from atheist to christian. and that just bugs me!
christians... why do catholics have to talk about christians? I am christians, although there might be some different perspectives on what other religions do with their belief, I personally would not talk about others like that. Just because have a different belief doesn't make one religion better of worse. We are all individuals who choose to believe what we believe in.
me? atheist? no. christian? no buddhism? no no no. dunno which suits me better. but i found no reason why i hav to believe in anything. even myself. i've never seen god (Allah or whatever people call them). but surely, if he/she/it does exist, then he/she/it will be the first person i hate. but i really do respect at all religion. coz everybody has their own rights.
Ilg I sincerely love God. He made me whole again after times of depression and faillure. If you truly open your heart to God, you will hear his guidance in your life!
i think you should have posted this in the "What is your religion?" thread. Oh well, im glad to here it, btw what is your religion exactly, you sound Christian anywayz. God bless.
