What kind of TVB Dramas do you like?

I prefer ancient ones most of the time. unless if its really bad

 

I like ancient because of cute costumes, nice storys, and I can understand all their phrases cause im cool like that

 

Actually, I think the modern ones nowadays are just about as unrealistic as the ancient ones. Minus the CG effects...

I've always enjoyed watching ancient series more because a lot of them are based on famous novels, and the stories are much more meaningful. I also learn chinese history from them! Like the ones about kings and stuff...

 

and, the love stories are more interesting

 

I prefer ancient series. I like the swords fighting and love the women's clothes and hairstyles. But too bad TVB doesn't have those 90's ancient series anymore. Nowadays the stories are bad, same with the actors. I've been checking ancient series from other production companies but most of them aren't so great either.

 

what are some other productioin companies beside TVB?

I ususally prefer comedy...it dont matter is it is ancient or modern..as long as a character dont speakfake voice!

 

Ancients for me especially ones with romantic comedy and lots of action. There are some pretty good moderns but on the whole I prefer the ancients.

TVB ancients are good.... not so heavy as to inundate me with too much history and fanciful words.

I pick modern TVB dramas, cuz it's more about nowaday lifes.
But ancient are good too. Cuz most of them had nice fight scene, but somehow I like modern better.

IMO ancients are good for Taiwanese series also.

 

Not sure but I think the modern ones is better specially the comedy kind.

I like ancient because I'm more into the way people are dressed back then, the way they talked (even though sometimes it's hard to understand), and the courtesy that people use to have..
