What kind of TVB Dramas do you like?

ancients always good as long as there's fighting involved...

 

modern always follows the same formula, you'll see them

1. sitting around a table family eating
2. classic office space
3. love triangle

4. repeats steps 1 2 3

thats why i perfer kung fu, comedy ancient series, they can do anything espically with the improved cgi and i find they are harder to predict (series i've never heard of)

one thing i never do from now on is watch the god damn intro for any series because it RUINS the whole film. Skip the intro/music so u dont know what to expect! it certainly made my tvbing alot more pleasurable.. (if only i'd done that all these years..)

basically they are ruining the movie for u be4 u even see it so i do advise u to SKIP IT

its refreshing to switch back and forth but i watch ancient 3 times more then i do modern

 

i dun mind whether it ancient or modern... but prefer ancient cus the custome n hair style they hav r so cool....... miss the ancient series bac in 90s they so gud... hate where they hav so many wong fei hung, conder hero etc... u jus get fed up wit the same storyline over n over again....

 

i personally like the ancient series with the martial arts and stuff, but nowadays, there seems to be too many of those... sort of ruins it. now, i am more interested in the period drama... u know, like the Grand Shanghai theme. bringing back the old classic times.

 

Ancient and pre-modern I love to watch. Modern is nothing peculiar I think.

 

Ancient;] There are just alot of intersting things I can learn from them, and it's usually quite amusing. Moderns series, they kind of get boring...at least some do.

 

I like modern one because I can understand them better but I like the ancient ones where there is lots of Kung-Fu action and comedy.

 

I like ancient films, they can do so much more

 

somteism i just watch to movie because of the characters and not because of the setting

 

i prefer modern more.. i like watching police dramas...

I choose Modern. Ancient is good, but for some reason the ancient tvb dramas now are really stupid and the same old thing. Unlike the Ancient, Modern dramas always have new things. For example: Forensic Heroes. Wow that was one new and great series right there.

 

I like Modern dramas. I can't stand the 古裝 ones... they're sooooo boring.
I especially like ones with romance and drama...

 

ancient romance is actually good too....love, fighting, comedy, effects. what more can u ask for?

 

i totally agree with you....i also cannot stand some of the ancient series but there are some that are pretty good
