ballet is great at toning and building muscle without bulking you up. that's why ballerinas are so long and lean
5lbs? damn... u girls are really sensitive... 5lbs is nothing, most likely water weight... get that after a good night of drinking... :biggthumpup:
just go for a run....... like once every two days so your muscles has time to recover..good for losing weight and doesnt buff you up i dont think
I agree with steve and vinnya. Do low weights and high reps (over 20-50 reps) for any exercise will help you burn fat. And eating something with high in protein in it is a good idea before sleeping cause your body will use calories to digest your food. Lunges are good for slimming the legs. Crunches are best for burning fat on the abdomin. Kickbacks for the flabby fat area around the triceps.
For me, weight doesn't matter, it's the looks that matter, if you look skinny, and you weight much more than you look, I don't really care. People always thinks that lower weight is better but to me is the look, I do a lot of gymnastics so I'm fit and kinda on the slim side, but I weigh like 110lbs, I don't really care if that is heavy as long as I don't look fat.
swimming and elliptical. swim for the sexy body and calorie burning; elliptical for the calorie burning.
if you want to loose serious weight, BIKE! do interval work out with biking! search it up on google. Bike is much better then jogging. And imma tell you why. Jogging for a long time gives a lot of pressure to your knees, in the end, messing up your knee cap. But biking gets all the pressure off your knees. So you would be able to bike longer then jogging
generally speaking unless ur eating lots of proteine n carbs n lifting very very heavy weights it's very hard for women to go bulky coz we don't have enough testosterones in our body... i do lights 3-4 times a week n i don't get bulky... i just get toned n yes u can c small muscles developing... if ur really scared abt getting bulky just do cardio... n do lots of stretching afterwards...
well ... i've been doing some hill walking since few months ago. had heavy breakfast and light lunch. skip dinner. my wiehgt actually gone down. i've lost about 9 kg for about 4 months now. that's what i do .... hill walking ....
swimming is good, but casually walking for a minimum of 30 minutes is good each day ~ Offtopic: whats with the initial post, made in 01-21-2002??? lol, PA wasnt even invented back in 2002
what are you? like 2 feet tall? you expect to build muscle lifting 5 pounds?! and how are you even "bulking" by dancing. unless you doing back flips or breaking i don't see how you are bulking by dancing. if you are fat and dancing, you would be losing weight. and if you are fit and dancing you would be toning up.
