Mplayer kicks all other players. It comes with command or with gui skin. Fastest player out there and their codecs compilation is the most complete.
WMP11 with K-lite codec packs and rm/quicktime codecs, i can pretty much watch everything on WMP11 and for those occasions wmp dont work vlc does the job
I use Media PLayer classic .... which can play almost anything.. it calls : K-Lite MEga Codec PAck... recommended for people who does not really undersatnd about movie or video extension .... since it can play almost anything.. give it a try and u will know what i am talking about
I use WMP 11 with K-Lite Mega Codec Pack, plays everything and looks great LOL for portable use i use VLC portable.
I use Media Player Classic , within KLite... plays everything... VLC is also a good choice for playing incomplete or half downloaded files... even RAR files...
I use Media Player Classic, VLC and GOM Player. All very good players with their own strengths and weaknesses
I use Windows Media Player rather than Windows Media Player classic because you can play files that are named in Chinese characters without changing your regional setting to be "Taiwan" or "PRC".
Anyone here use FFdirect show with Media player classic. I love it. Great quality pictures (u can play around with it to improve picture quality). (picture quality is definitely better than VLC) Here is a link to ffshow configeration guide. http://www.tweaksrus.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=7034
wmp, windows media & real plays most of my files.. and yeah.. if there's subtitles, then vlc is the best :]
WMP and nero showtime. Showtime is better as it has speed control, but small buttons, but since I only watch movies, either is adequate. I also uses ATI DVD player, but it crashes sometimes maybe due to my hardware (nvidia chipset with ATI graphic adapter).
