No, if you buy a HP inkt cartridge, the printerhead is already included (they are not sold seperatly) So the big advantage is that the printerhead will be replaced with ever change of inkt. Guarantying the best print results
o.. another qn.. inkjet or laser? I heard that laser color technology is not there yet.. and its expensive. What do you guys suggest? get a b/w laser jet? or color inkjet?
Which technique you choice, really depends on the quantity and quality of printwork. If you do lots of B/W prints (aka documents) nothing beats the laserprinter. But if you want color prints, you need to look at inkjet or dye sublimation printers. Although the laserprinter can also produce color prints but the color gradiance is horrible and there for not suited for photos. The dye sublimation printer is specialized in printing photos. It basically uses 3 layer of color folie to create the photo. Some times even 4 layers (3 color layer and 1 protective layer). The inktjet is the solution which can create good document prints and photos. If you look at cost per copy, the dye sublimation is the most expensive and the inktjet the most cheap, relative spoken. What your choice is, depends on the use So up to you
^ hey.. nice.. thanks. I will probably get a color inkjet. Its cheaper too. Still considering the brand though...
HP should be a good choice if you want an all-in contraption with fax. Canon and Epson use printerheads which are attached to the printer. Replacing them is very expensive. Where as HP has the printer on the inkt-cartridge. If you replace the inkt in a HP printer you also replace the printerhead. Leaving you with a brand new one when you plug in new inkt
A very ancient HP Deskjet 720 but it's working fine and untill my HP Scanner 5200 stop to work, I'm not updating these things for an all in one. (most likely also be a HP)
my nice HP printer got jammed somehow and can't take in the paper... -cry2 so I had to get a cheap HP to print... -___-' damn HP!!!
