another tourist spot you ought to go to in toronto is called church street. LOL just kidding. go at your own risk lol
^ Yes, you will get to see Babylon the infamous club from QaF (shouldn't it be in Pittsburg anyways?), if you know what I mean... =_=b
sorry kodak.. why you always mistaking man.... i hang out with my celebs friends down cumberland street... its you and your boys who chill down church at midnight with a "bone here" sign on your back lol jsk man
the statue of liberty is a must, everyone goes there. empire state building and ground zero is another. if u visit ground zero u can do shopping along the way. century 21 and clothing outlet is like a block away. fyi if no1 mentioned NYC doesnt apply tax on clothing or shoes under $110. your total can go over $110, as long as the item doesnt go over $110 then u wont be taxed. walking in/through/around central park is the best. i had to do a paper on the history of it and made to collect things from stores along the way. u can see all the different buildings and stop by various musems along the way.
Hmm...pretty much everyone has said everything I was going to say >.< But lets see...if you don't feel like going directly to the Statue of Liberty or it's too late in the day, you can always take the Staten Island Ferry and take pictures of it from afar xD If your going to shop alot...avoid buying stuff on Canal Street in Chinatown. Though like thanatosxvi said, Century 21 is right by Ground Zero. I should know...I walk by it alot of times when it's a nice day and I'm going home from school ^.^ Broadway is always nice, Empire State Building, MoMA, MET, Musuem of Natural History, and Central Park. If it was winter, I would recommend Rockefeller Center to see the tree and ice skate, but it's spring now. OH, you can also go to Grand Central Station. If you're going in May, I believe there's the Tribeca Film Festival (they premiered MI:3 right across from my school and Tom Cruise drove up in his motorcycle last year), the 9th Avenue International Food Festival, and fleet week. Last thing to say, don't take a car. Take the subway and always ALWAYS carry a subways map on you.
yuppp for shopping, go to 34St and Soho in Manhattan, and Seaport too. Seaport and Soho are really close to Chinatown.
^ Not true, it's the museums I am drooling over... MoMa! Mets (Not really actually)! and Guggenheim!!!
i take it your favourite place to hang out is at ROM, art gallery, shoe gallery or ON Sci center -lol jsk
^ Sorry no. It's Canon, Princess of Wales, Royal Alexandria, Royal Thompson and Hummingbird So I adore Broadway in NYC too. But the Arts are better.
