It's not a problem if you are still struggling with your life, you are after all still young and got plenty of time. But the most important thing is you have picked urself up and realized there's more to your life than just partyin around and slackin off. So by all means, if you really miss that girl, go back for her! Tell her you made a mistake and you really want her and that you're gonna work hard for it. Tell her you want to make a good life for urself as well so that both of you can haf a future together. I am sure she'd accept you back if she still feels for you and if she thinks that you are sincere!
^wow. babyrain. well put. so basically i agree with babyrain and the whole "make a future for yourself" first. as long as she's fine with you and your character, that's all that matters right? i'm not saying to totally dismiss her family but if you give it time instead of just cutting everything off and assuming before actually seeing. you don't know what her family will think. perhaps her family will get to know your character and what's underneath your uhh.. outside appearance. but then again, this takes courage and perseverance so think it through.

Well, yeah, basically I believe the most important thing is if the person has perseverance and effort put into whatever he wants to do, and i am sure the girl's family would be satisfied. No point wanting the daughter to hook up with a rich guy from an influential family but he's a player, spoilt brat, etc. Unless the family's just greedy... lol
