if you are worried about stuff, but dont want to hold your ex back one suggestion is, ask that you be there during the conversations although it may be akward, also let them know you feel akward about the situation too and if after time, being there you know nothing is going on, maybe you can slowly back out of the converstations I am still really good friends with my last ex we talk alot still and i dont know what i would do if my bf wouldn't let me talk to him i probebly would stop talking to my ex if he didn't like it, but i would also be VERY VERY VERY mad at him

There's nothing you can do if they talk to their exes. If you act like a jerk (too jealous) then they will dump you because you are annoying. Just keep an open eye/ear on them and act confident in your relationship. Also let them know that you trust them.
