snakes gall bladder as medicine when i was young, kangaroo, is about the most exotic. Had all the frogs legs and snails etc Seen a dog being killed and cooked, but never ate it myself...
I can't really say the name of it on this forum, but the second most exoctic thing is whale...lol, tasted like fat!!!!!!!
Hummm i think they had a thread about ppl like you. It was about eating babies!!! j/k where did you go to eat whales? I'm guessing finland?
Since I've been traveling through serval developing countries I've been offerd to try spider, pupa, grasshopper and things I don't even know the names of haha =P
Spiders! UUGHHH!!! I've seen people eating those fat black, hairy ones on telly, whack! And what is 'pupa'? (please don't tell me that's another slang or internet abbrevation I don't know off!)
Haha, well everybody were starring at me when I was chewing one spiderleg for hours... And I couldn't just spit it out either, so I just had to swollow it =( Hmm, pupa is a cover that the caterpillar makes around itself while it is changing into an adult. It is the resting stage of a developing insect before it changes into an adult insect. This is the third life cycle stage.
LOL, I had this image of a PUPPY in mind when I read 'pupa'! (the thread about the Chinese eating babies hoax is still fresh in my memory) Well, I've learned another thing today
If you're cantonese and go to Guangdong then you would be surprised at what they serve. I remember they had dogs, foxes, weasels, and various endangered animal locked up in cages. It's like you just point and they kill and cook it. I think I ate fox once and that was the most exotic animal.
