the chicken can't just evolve like that..it has to come from an egg with all that dna stuff

 

Evolution occurs when the cells mutate and produces something like a shorter beak or longer legs.
Therefore before any chicken (or what we would call a chicken), they was bird like chicken which laid an egg.
This egg then mutated/evolved into the chicken we all love to eat today
Therefore concluding that the egg came first -smart
