personally i prefer using chopsticks over a fork with food that i have to select or are in pieces, but id prefer using a spoon over chopsticks with like soup =P
it depends on what kind of food I am eating and whatever is available. I don't really care whether it is fork or chopstick.
Apparently, I've been using chopsticks the wrong way all this time. I thought I was using it the correct way but as it turns out, people tell me that I'm using it like a pen. That's the sloppy jook-sing way of going about it.
Just a matter of preference and depending of what you eating. But for me noddles taste better with chopsticks!!!
hmm.. i can use chopsticks properly. but either utensils is fine with me. I just use which ever is most appropriate. Nowadays, I only use chopsticks for noodles. some reports say using chopsticks make Arthritis more likely. http://www.health24.com/news/Arthritis/1-891,25183.asp others say its bad science http://www.newstarget.com/000349.html but it doesn't reli matter to me. It has its convenience
Proud to be asian I like our tradition of using chopsticks whenever we can or should. knife and forks are useful depending on situation but when I sit among westerners using knifes and forks I lose my esteem of being chinese-unsure . I just tell them I am what I am and when they try using chopstick it's different init-nono . But overall it depends on where we are really-boat . Being honest I don't like much of the western culture especially when a chinese person I meet can't speak or read our own language, I find it digusting. BUT then I'm typing english instead of chinese cause it fast-shock . haaaahh.....-rolleyes
well it depends what u eat... i dont think that you can use chopsticks to eat a steak. but i prefer chopsticks
Tisken ...u said rite ....it depends wat u eat ....yah chopsticks are the most common for us (asian).
