FF7 - For the Gameplay and the movie FF8 - For the story, graphics, and the gunblade rocks FF9 - Completely sucks FF10 - The graphics and Rikku FF10.2 - The graphics and still Rikku FF12 - The graphics but the gameply not that much
never have the patience to play any FF games, but i would love to somehow be able to watch all cut scenes.. like the latest FF game... gaphics looks super nice.. but I dunno if I really wanna spend so many hours so jus I can watch all the cut scenes...
only played FF7 FF8 and tactics. i totally agree with wachay on ff7 and ff8. ff7 felt so perfect. ff8 was just as good because even though it lacked some gameplay elements of ff7 it made it up with a complicated story. i remember back in the day some ppl i kno that didnt pay close attention to ff8 said the story sux cuz dey didnt really know what the entire storyline was about. ff8 also had a happier ending than ff7 . tactics was also good. i havent played the anything after 8 so i would have to say 7 and 8 are probably best. for those that play online, is it really dat good. i mean, i cant see a good storyline in mmorpgs. this is a pure generalization, i dun play mmorpgs so i dun want any mmorpgs bashing at me over dat comment.
it's mind boggling to think how many pple and hours they've spent playing all the games in the series...
Final Fantasy 8 - story, characters Final Fantasy X/X2 - graphics, soundtracks, story & characters Final Fantasy 7 - story, characters. (if it comes on PS3.. that would be mind blowing! It would be like playing Final Fantasy: AC)
dun worry singkwan, u'r not alone, ff2(4) and ff3(6) are still my favourites to this day, they had great characters and it was great how you could combo your moves or find little glitches to make your guys godly. oh, and the games were HARD. you actually got game over in the old ff games, unlike the new ones. The new ones are great cuz they were able to expand the game with more things to do. the cutscenes do help bring out the story alot and are very prettyful to look at. =) but it has to be: (for me anyways) FF3 (all the characters, story, plot twists and secrets) FF10 (the ultimate weapons and battle system) FF7 (just cuz everyone else picked it, i guess i might as well...JK lol. nice story and everything that you can do in that game)
FF8 for characters and Faye Wong song! Older FFs (I-VI) for faster gameplay (none of the 3D slow battle stuff!)!
i reckon ff 7 is the best ff game ever and i think they should remake it with the ps3 graphics... that would be awesome. can't wait for ff 13.. looks excellent
Final Fantasy IV - X Final Fantasy VI is simpliy the greatest of all time for the SNES console. Final Fantasy VII the greatest for the Playstation1 Final Fantasy X for the Playstation 2
Final Fantasy X graphic, story and music are excellent Final Fantasy VII the story is the best of all Final Fantasy X-2 the gamplay was bad but the graphic was geat Final Fantasy XII not finish yet but the graphic are excellent and the story seems good.
I think FF VIII is the best the story is the best and the system where you use magic to upgrad you're stats is the most usefull thing in all FF, maybe cours im not the great magic user^^ and i think the Charackte devlopment is more realistic in this part of the series then ist FF VII it has also a real good story but not as good as FF VIII and it has the coolst FF Charakter ever: Vincent Valentine^^
