    A majority of the chinese speaking people in nyc, manhattan are from Taishan, Guangzhou in the Guangdong district which is where I'm from. o_O I was born in america though :D

    yep from essex basicaly not even far from london.. off to the M25 xD

    my parents are from HK.. both from Yuen Long
    Mum is like near Kam Tin
    Dad is like "Har Juk Yuen"

    Village girl all the way hahaa but then born and bred in England tho

    I am born in Hong Kong but raised up in Europe. Whenever someone ask me where do you come from I answer HK. Some Chinese think I am rude when I say im from HK not Chinese but I think HK and mainland China is a little bit different. I personally never been in mainland before

    most people from hk prefer to say they are from hk instead of mainland china.

    it's because HK is totally different to Mainland China... Don't know why thought but I guess there's a minor cultural difference i guess

    I was from Guangdong before I moved to HK when I was 2 years old. I lived in Kowloon when I was there before immigrating to the U.S. as teen.
