which sounds better: songs sung in canto or madarin

Mostly Cantonese since that language, I can fluently understand, but also Mandarin since I am learning that too XD So both.

 

i prefer canto more than mando, but between them i prefer japanese more lolx!!!

 

mI think mandarin sounds better but i like cantonese more cuz i understand it ..

 

in my opinion, canto sounds better...i don't know why

 

well i say to rap in mandarin is cool better than cantonese but cantonese sounds better

 

It depends on the song. I like to listen to both languages but I get more mandrian because I don't know a whole bunch of canto singers.

 

mandarin DEFINITELY sounds better....catonese just sounds...not that great...but mandarin can sound very soothing and good ...i mean canatonese isn't BAD...its good...its just if u compare it, i think mandarin is better

 

That depends. But most likely cantonese cause thats the language I understand the most beside english.

 

i like canto cuz i understand what they r saying, but mandarin songs are cool too. lets just say i like CHINESE songs... hehe

 

i also think it depends because some songs work for canto and not mandarin and some songs work for madarin but not for canto

 

i love both cantonese and mandarin...it is all depend on the singer, melody, and lyric....

 

Cantonese, just because I understand it, though some Mandarin songs sound good also, even though I don't understand it.

 

personally..i prefer the sound of mando. i just think it sounds better...i dunno why i just do lol. but there are some canto songs that i reli love to listen to ^__^

 

well....my mother tongue is Cantonese, i speak Mandarin as well.....i think both languages sound good....as long as the singer is good, that's the most important thing i reckon

depends on the song really...like most songs sound good in both languages mandarin sounds more smooth while cantonese sounds more crisp...however sum songs sound like shit like alex fong g hei hei yun in mandarin so crap

 

it depends on the artist, the voice is very important. like in the series the amazing twin, nicholese tse sang the theme song. The manderin version sounded so much better then the cantonese verison. It just depends on the actual song that was sang first. Whatever song that was latter sang would be the worster of the two. Does any one agree?

 

mandarin songs are easier to sing..
well as long as you can pronounce words in mandarin..

but overall imo, canto sound is better....
out of 200 songs, i got maybe less than 5 thats mandarin on my comp

 

It depends on the song. Have to see if the lines rhyme well and if all the characters fit the line

 

I like them both but I like canton a bit more because its my native language -scooter
