hopefully you'll get that pci-express and a dual core processor, heard it utilzes it too. Don't know about you but usually games don't really play too well if i have the minimum specs on my pc lol, especially online.

Noway, atleast a good 7 series card if you want max settings on newer games like graw and graw 2, etc etc.

And for the person that said 2 8800 gtx is overkill -- not for long. I ran the dx10 demo and barely got over 20 fps in game with 1680 resolution with one 8800 gtx. 2 isn't going to get you very far in next gen dx10 games and that's what the card was made for.

I hear the 8950 gx2 is going to be 3 times faster than one 8800 gtx so wait for that one to come out and run it in sli. That's overkill.

Cars have newer and better models and so do graphics cards. Hence the 4,5,6,7, and 8 series.

Assuming you have a 7600GT...your card is of the 7 series...now do you get it? I personally have a 8800gts so that's under the 8 series...

Yeah, only geforce cards. I don't know much about the radeon series coz I don't buy them, but there's the x series.

I have an eVGA 8800GT as well, although it's slightly under $200 now. Not sure if this counts, but it was around $250 at release. It's a pretty good card. I can use it to play any game (recent ones) I want at max settings, cept Crysis. =/.
