Im not going any where near main land china!! Hong Kong yes but not mainland. Had bad experience over there and too many bad news from over there as well (like the eating baby news)!! Come UK!!

There are also Olympic activities in HK. As far as I know it is all about sports with horses.
So the 2008 Olympic Games is still a valid gathering place

In HK, the McDs are open 24/7, that is far beter than the bin next to williamstorm LOL
In the weekend, you can sit besides the Philipino house helps ... then it will be not so obvious that you ... LOL

in fact worse story i heard was that these group of teenage girls from Hk went mainland.
While at the shenzen train station one girl had to go toilet. after a while she didnt go back to her friends.
So her friends went looking for her, couldnt find her anywhere.
Later they found her chopped up body in a bag in the stairwell with her kidneys and other organs missing

i was told that this was on the news in HK

 

I heard about that story when I was in HK, but I don't think it is true.
Since no one could give me the actual story in the papers.
Since the HK economy was very bad in that year.
I guess it is a media trick to scare people away from Shen Zhen.
Yep, Shen Zhen is HKs biggest competitor in entertainment and food.

i never actually heard or saw this on tv, but someone who lives in HK said they saw it on the news -shrug who knows, just make sure you look diseased if you go mainland, then NO one will touch you -lol

 

But I also hear stupid stories about the US of A. Like seriel killers, people that shoot randomly, etc. But we still go to this country.
I guess you need to witness in person and instead of listing to rumors.
I have been in China many times. I have climbed the Great Wall of China.
Seen the forbidden city, shopped in Shanghai.
But I really didn't see this weird things

I don't know, as long as you keep away from the bad areas you should be fine, like any other place in the world.
