Shirley coz she is making alot of us hating her which means she is playing her role really well. Bernice is ok...she needs to work on her expression at little bit more.
I agree Shirley's acting skills are great playing a villian here. Bernice, I don't like when she talks. Kate, she can improve her looks better if she change her hairstyle.
I personally like Bernice Liu, but i think her acting is quite stiff here. I don't know why but her facial expressions just give me the feeling that it doesn't come naturally from her, perhaps it's the way her eyes squint or something. No doubt someone said in the post that bernice had tears in her eyes or sth, but i just feel that she's just acting... whereas a good actress wouldn't make you feel that she's "acting"... get what I mean? Just feel that she's not natural enough, so acting skills wise, i would pick Shirley. She's definitely good here, very natural. I can't stand her character at all... As for kate, i can say she's much better than bernice if we compare the newcomer bernice n newcomer kate. I recall how stiff bernice was in survivor's law, she improved in Into Thin Air, but here, she's just average, not much improvement. So i would say 1. Shirley 2. Kate 3. Bernice
It's interesting because Bernice was acting in a role that required her to act to hide her cover. So her lack of authenticity at times kind of suited the role. When she was worried about Kenneth's mom while in the meeting, those emotions looked quite nice imo.
1. Shirley 2. Bernice 3. Kate Of the three, Shirley has the most experiance and she did a great job in this one! Although every1 hates her...her acting is good but that doesn't mean we LIKE her. Bernice is so-so coz she's not familiar with the language very well and speaks slowly everytime. Her days will come u guys just watch. And finally Kate, i don't know wut to say...her innocent look is no good for our viewers. PRETTY!?! i don't think she is...there's a LONNGGG road ahead of her to become the best.
I think Shirley portrayed her character the best cuz of her evil role.. i really hated her a lot. Bernice was ok and kate is just plain.
Bernice is definitely better, even though her acting is not the best but at least she is a good actress, she knows how to act however her cantonese is not that accurate.
i never really liked shirley's acting i think most of the series she in its kinda annoy me cos of her annoying character but in this series i can see a different side of shirley acting she did very well with the evil character which is good. On the other hand i like bernice most.
it actually depends on how they take on the role of the character if they're supposed to be evil and you hate them then they're successful! so you kan't really say who is better but look for who has the "more of the skills" in acting
Who is a better actress? I agree they still need improvements, but I must say I prefer Shirley Y. playing this role than any other roles she played previously. I think Bernice is getting better too. I am not thrilled with the Kate's performance.
I think shirley acting in here has improved a lot because she made me hate her character because she was so evil. Bernice acting is ok but Shirley did better than her here and Kate still need to improve because in sad scenes she still can't cry. I don't see any tears from kate when she cries
I'm not normally a fan of Shirley's.. but I admit I really loved her in this series! She did great in her first villain role and I think her crying skills have improved too.
1st---Bernice(just because.....i dunno why...like her the best..) 2nd---Shirley(just dont like her...dunno why...just dont) 3rd---Kate(shes.....i dunno...i just dun like her>.< )
