ahh I'm not good at math, as much as I'd like to be. However, I scored really high when I was little, because my mom forced me to do KUMON. xD So as a result, I can complete 30 questions of a mix of multiplication, division, addition, subtraction in 11 seconds. According to brain age at least. But I am really fast at those types.
Those aren't the hard ones...... its the ones where you have to figure out the right sign ( + - / *) that fits the equation that gets a bit tricky lol
Because we that's how we are taught. You need to know how to calculate your cost so that you don't get screwed at the checkout of the supermarket, at the restaurant, lalala. Thus we are good with number
i was good at maths well calculations i am fast but my teacher was a freshy accent iranian teacher who teaches from the textbook like i cnt learn from that i gave up on maths like mentioned before Are chinese good at sports?? no.... sooo we're not a physically strong in general to compensate that we are intelligent lil beings haha
Being good at something is all relative. The question you should be asking is: Why do non-asians suck at math?
I was never great at math and i hated math when i was young. But up until High school, where I had to get myself into a good university i started picking up all those lost years haha. Now I love math. I find math extremely easy and other science courses other than english. "Who needs English any ways? we're never going to England!" lol Also HK entrance math exams and china's are bloody insanely hard!
We prefer maths than English because we are Chinese. I wonder would Chinese people in China prefer maths or Chinese.
i think bcoz we think that maths is the most important subject out of the rest, n its jus sumthin we do, chinese ppl like to study business studies and IT aswell
