hehehe... guilty as charged. -blush I also admit to being one of the more frequent spammers in the forum. -sweat But it's summer! Spamming is just something we do to brighten up our otherwise very boring lives. You said it is just a forum... and this in the internet after all, so of course there will be a lot of people screwing around. Don't think too deep into the subject.
Because I am not a hypocrite. But I still don't support the "gay" and sexist/racist comments, though.
Knoc, I appreciate that post... and I AM doing my part... by not posting as a response (and I'm probably not the only one doing this). I contribute by posting to what catches and deserves my attention and ignoring the others. It's no one's responsibility to be parents around here by bringing conversations back on topic, this includes the mods. I believe being guilty of taking posts off topic is ok. But just like everything else, there's a balance (to have a limit). When majority of the posts become off topic with content that have no real point to them, things just get unstimulating and tiresome to read. Yes I understand that PA is targeted as a hang out place, which is why I never created a thread about these thoughts, but PA is changing to a very different crowd from when I joined imo. It's a crowd that I find progressively harder to associate with, so I don't find much to reply to. This isn't targeted at anyone specific, just stating what I've been observing, but many posts now don't have the maturity, wittiness, and intellectual aspect to them like there use to be. Which really doesn't matter too much since it appears many like the way things are becoming, just acknowledge that you gain some and you lose some, and unfortunately for me, I'm on the losing side.

i noticed the girls only thread has been hi-jacked even when labled being serious. How bout u guys stick some kinda [ serious discussion only ] tag on the topics if u want people to really stay focused and mods will delete / warn anything out of hand, or maybe we should make an icon for serious debates only topics. I dunno just a suggestion.

Yeh, I agree with you and mostly about the disrespectful aspect of it all. We may be young but we should still be considerate of other members and not just focuss on ourselves and how much fun it is.
^ jeez, some off topic convo is not that bad, what disrespect is there?!!? I personally only come to PA because of its laid back attitude. There are only so many serious opinions one can give... Most of the time when off topic convo starts the thread is almost dead anyway as many of the active users have already said something. In the end im here to enjoy myself
i sedond that idea on a serious tag put on so "called" serious discussions...i out quotes as in i dont know how serious dicussion can actually get...
