Why do we have to learn Chinese?

    chinese is one of the oldest language, why not. plus chinese economy is whopping ass, you got a better chance landing a job with foreign company that has base in China

    china is becoming an important country,like english,it will be used a a common language in the future,that's what i think.there is also more job opportunities..

    I learn Chinese to keep my heritage alive. In our day and age, with so many cultures mixing, I think it's important that you know where you come from. Plus so much of the Chinese language is intertwined with Chinese culture, most notably our calligraphy.

    Just look in the mirror, we are sons of the Dragon, we at least need to lear how to speak , even a "little bit".....green banana is better than no banana at all..

    Totally agree that china's influence is increasing in the world. Especially when you have chinese background, learning chinese is a MUST
