^ lol asian girls i've talked to have said they are scared of black guys, which is something i find pretty hilarious. Usually the only asian girls you'll find with black guys are the really skanky ones.
^ Awe! Cute baby!! Mixed people are really good looking... @ fearless that's true... a few friends of mine who've met my one black friend are scared of him cause he's huge. He's a foot taller than me, I can see why. =P
For asian girls growing up in Western culture, e.g. in Europe, U.S. etc, it can be seen that they don't judge people by races. White or Asian does not matter because people are people, because they've been brought up in a Western culture so they are a good merge.
azn are gut less when it comes to asking a girl out or even talking to them i see it all the time from my friends sigh
Asian guy tend to be too shy and overly passive in a relationship. White guy seems more assertive so it is natural that they tend to go for the "exotic" one that seems so manly.
I think it's because they're generally taller and "manlier" so that's why asain girls are attracted to them. No offense intended.
yep asian guy is too shy to walk to a girl and ask her out i myself have problems with this... maybe asian dudes just need a little push
Most asians still preferably go out with asians. The only type of asians girls who go for white guys are either whitewashed asians girls or they are racist towards asian men so they choose white guys. This mostly happens in western countries. Sometimes asiaphiles also go overseas to asia to play with the women pretend they want to get married etc especially married men who already have wife and kids. I've also heard of ones that go and teach English in Asia, they have affairs with students. Most in my area have asian an fetish who wants to screw asian women because they are exotic, blame media because of how they degrade asian women and make them sexual commodities. Just look at the google ads and if you open newspapers look at the sex services. I opened a tourist guide once and it had lot's of Asian massage parlor adverts. It's all based on false stereotypes and materialisitics standards. Don't worry usually those relationship never last. Guys don't worry about all the lies they make up about asian men, they just hate on us so they get asian women to boost their egos. Especially with the organ thing it's all bs. They only trick the really dumb ones. The trend is actually reversing now because the numbers have been dropping in the last 5 years Asians are getting more educated on it and becoming more asian again.
I noticed that when I lived in Orange County during the summers. But here in Iowa I don't see many asian-white couples. Most of the Asian girls at my school are Vietnamese, and the few who do date never date White guys. I have no problem with this, I have alot of respect for them because they're not entirely 'whitewashed'. I have noticed that the Asian guys at my school are somewhat less masculine than me and other White guys. I'm not entirely sure why that is. I've also heard some of them talking about me before. They don't like me because they know I like Asian girls. Even though they don't like me, I think they're still nice people. Kenshi - I'm glad that Asian women are starting to see the way things really are. The fact that the media makes Asian men less desireable to their women really upsets me. As for the lies we White guys make up, I never partake in that. Asian men are my equals, and I would never make up stupid false lies about them.
Shadow: It sounds like your area have the stronger asian influence. Unfortunately others don't have that. Asians are getting smarter and starting to make the changes where it matters. It's an ugly topic and nobody wants to talk about it but it's good to be educated on it. If your interested here is a paper on internalized racism.. http://www.allacademic.com/meta/p_mla_apa_research_citation/1/0/9/4/3/p109437_index.html [In this presentation I discuss those forms of racism that denigrate the masculinity of Asian males, which I refer to as gendered racism. The exaggerated and derogatory images of Asian American masculinity serve to glorify those forms of masculinity associated with white males. I examine the specific forms of gendered racism that second generation Korean and Vietnamese American males face, and describe how these demonizing myths and images shape the perceptions of Asian American women. In an analysis of 100 interviews with daughters of Korean and Vietnamese immigrants, I find that they frequently juxtapose derogatory images of Asian masculinity with positive images of white masculinity that are circulated in the white-dominated society. In so doing, they (re)construct white males as more attractive and more gender egalitarian than Asian males. This form of internalized gendered racism is part of the process by which Asian American females are made available to white males (Espiritu, 1997). It also reaffirms the hegemonic positioning of white masculinity. These data illustrate dynamics of internalized gendered racism among new Americans of Asian descent. Specifically, respondents reiterate the negative stereotypes of Asian males that are perpetuated in the white-dominated mainstream, while subscribing to views of white male supremacy. I argue that the processes of adaptation, acculturation and assimilation can entail forms of mental colonization whereby newcomers to the U.S. and their children are inundated with images and messages that promote notions of white supremacy, including the glorification of white masculinity, against which the cultures and bodies of non-whites are denigrated. This view challenges earlier notions of assimilation as a positive process that generates a common culture and opportunities of upward mobility for immigrants and their children. Rather, I argue that part of the process of becoming American can entail the gradual adoption of the gendered racism associated with the white mainstream, contributing to self-hatred . This study illustrates white patriarchal racism’s immense power in securing compliance by getting the oppressed to do it to themselves.]
hahaha that would explain the asian girls with black guys =P I think that one vid "yellow fever" on youtube sums it up the best *nods*
From what i know white guys ask girls out more frequently then Asians guys thus boasting their chances of success.
To the asian guys.. Don't worry... One thing white guys don't have is our chinese blood. Be proud of it.
they can say the same about you and what you are missing. in my opinion everyone is equal. you love someone not because of look, but because of who he really is.
gotto love these questions... and seeing the same sort of answers... then again I've never really properly gone out with a white girl before...
