Will Smith Invites Stephen Chow to Remake "Karate Kid"

wow, ill be funny to see what kind of combination this turns out to be. probably it could be similar to rush hour where jackie and chris tucker totally became favs of both american and chinese culture

 

If you're thinking about the constant shouting and screaming of dragonball z, then no. No matter which series he'll do I bet he'll maintain the comedic relief of the original dragonball series (one with little goku). I wouldn't shoot down the idea right away, since it seems to suit his style. Martial arts with a good amount of comedy.

As for this remake.... I have major doubts about this project.

it will be an interesting collaboration between will smith and stephen chow. i saw small advertisement regarding the dragon ball, the one who play goku will be justin chatwin who portrayed tom cruise's son in war of the worlds. dont think he is suitable though...

 

just imagine stephen chow speaks english lol it will be too ridiculous

 

I don't want Stephen Chow to become some "american" actor.... Want him to stick with 100% chinese movies.

 

more looking forward to his dragon ball n journey to the west than karate kid... i think the fight kinda suk

 

Hope they can collaborate together that would be a fun remake to see.

 

this is good news.......now i have an extra movie to wait to watch
