Def teach my kids chinese send them to chinese school too. Its too bad I don't know too much about the traditions and holidays. Kinda to late to learn that now...
Yeah but I'm adopting a Chinese or Japanese boy. I'll teach them Cantonese and if they want Mandarin. Hopefully they'll like anime so I can teach them Japanese.
I would definately teach them chinese because its part of their culture and heritage. It would be wrong for them to not know any chinese. Personally it feels wrong to me that there are some chinese people that only speak english.
ideally the first language my children will learn is chinese, both canto and mand. my mand sucks, but hopefully their's will be better. =P

For sure, I will. I'm still regretting that I haven't put on Chinese school in an early age, so my level is very poor. So yes, it's part of our identity.
