nothing special about vista. i installed it and then went back to xp again. might try vista again in around 1 year.
vista does look nice.. but i definitely recommend upgrade only when service pack 2 is out. It takes like 10 GB of hard drive space... for a notebook user like me vista is almost not an option... i tell ppl that just got a new comp to format it and reinstall xp
By then you'll most likely need a new video card as well. Using Vista at the moment as its a new work PC, kept getting BSOD until I updated the bios :(
vista blows. my dad needed a new laptop, so he got one with vista.. asked me to load up all this shit into his comp... the commercials were true... vista wants confirmation on every effing thing we do on it.... i tried running an exe and it goes "do you wish to continue running this exe file?" omfg...... EVERY TIME...... i know you can turn it off, but thats a really stupid feature... and plus, takes soooo long to even initialize for the first time.... half hour..... mine was like... 2 minutes lol and long loading time too.... vista blows lol
oh yea... service packs... its kind of the same for xp... but anyways, the topic here is: vista blows.
we just got a new laptop too...i don't find vista too bad. i mean, it's basically the same, but it's tolerable. i don't find it too annoying
i dont think its the same... i think 98 is more reliable and stable.. thats what a movie company (was told not to use name for legal reasons...) in canada is using atm for its projection system...
