im thinking im gonna install this on my macbook in a partition and see whats what, im hearing very good things about it
installed windows 7 on my work laptop and its working great...very little issues with it and it boots up suprisingly fast...but i'll get a better idea of it when i use it more
Does window 7 support most of the device drivers? b/c most of the manufactory doesn't have an updated driver for window 7 yet.
I don't have any problems with drivers, so far i like it better than vista. I think it runs smoother and faster
Well, im running it on a 25 GB partition on my macbook now... so far its a great OS, significantly faster than vista. It was also extremely easy to install lol. When i look at the widget that shows processor usage and ram usage the processor use only shows 1% usage like all the time and ram only 30%, which is awesome considering that on my phenom quad core desktop the processor is always sitting around 20% use and ram at 60%. I'd definitely like to see what the 64-bit version is like on my macbook in terms of performance but I think apple has some driver issues with 64 bit OS's at the moment.
my opinion is that window vista ultimate on my desktop is a lot more better than window 7.. window 7 is like no difference besides the boot up on my computer :laugh2: win7 boot slower than vista on my desktop.. vista still runs better for me on my desktop
mine did the opposite lol.. window 7 booted in 70+ seconds.. window vista booted in 56 seconds heres the window 7 scoring though.. that's my desktop score.
After receiving the bad opinions about Vista they of course would quickly release Windows 7 to win back sales. Thats what i think.
