i would've probably done the same and make Bosco die.....just not like this though...lol.. I would've make Bosco go to the hospital, stay in a coma....and then wakes up for alittle just to get a glance at linda.....and then BAM...dead....
I think this is TVB trying to be ballsy with their endings but not quite going all the way. I actually don't mind them killing off Hui Sir. It's more realistic that a sacrifice was made to catch the criminal. He should have just died on the spot after the car hit him. It'd would have made a stronger impact. His "reunion" with Hailey was so cliche. And the hot pink blood that he choked up...hai~~
totally agree LOL. this is just... too lame for words. I dont mind Bosco to die and the couple doesnt end up together. Just let him hit by a car and die, dont let him ride the motorcycle just to see his lover and die after... btw this is even more cruel for Linda, lol, she saw her brother die and now her lover xD and is it just me, somehow, I dont have any sympathy for Linda during whole serie. I found her to be really annoying, usually I like her roles .
That is so true, tvb i think just wants to make it not the same ending as usually by Bosco having coma and then wake up which is so expected in tvb drama. the ending would be better if Bosco dies at where he is. Also what the hell as there is no ending or nothing. i was more interested into how many years linda brothers get in jail and what happened to the company which they own. Such a disappointing drama

same as everyone else why all his friends didn't think to call an ambulance? If he was that injuried doubt he would have been able to get up anyway. But my biggest gripe is why was this series called 'witness protection' when the series wasn't about that department??
There were a lot more planned action scenes for this series. But TVB decided wasn't planning to make this series a top one and nvr held celebration dinners for it. No promotion and what not and still had good ratings. So they decided to trim a shit lots of scenes to make it a 19 episode drama. Watch trailers of the show (promotion clips that airs like a week prior).. you didn't see those scenes as I've remembered.
haven't watched drama series in a while.. and i thought this series was alright. but the ending, my god. first of all, bosco dying was totally unnecessary. tvb tried wayyyy too hard to make him super heroic and shit, so much to the extent he would push away linda's dad, the very guy that made him lose his job and called hit on him, and save his life. next retarded thing is, why would his colleagues just let him walk away and ride a MOTORCYCLE after doing what appeared to be a 1440degrees spin in mid air. the ending was just corny, him heading over to linda's house for their final reunion.. and he just slides and dies in her arms with the whole song in the background. quite cheesy... The finale -> 5/10 overall, the series i thought was alright, maybe 7/10.
hmm maybe bosco doesnt die. And goes into a coma later and then Linda's father doesnt get jailed for some reason lol but yea if he died after the smash that would have been an awesome ending. Him riding his bike to his lover and then dying was just stupid.

stop complaining, whats so bad about the ending? Because that your favo character died? people always complain that TVB always makes ''happy endings'' and now they gave u a cruel ending and its STILL bad? Happy endings are easiest to make, Bosco didn't even think that his life was worth anything lol
Its a bad ending cuz it makes no sense for Bosco to run off on his motorcycle. Actually, I dont care he doesnt end up with Linda, not at all, lol.

Yes. I do get a bit of feeling that he never really loved Linda and just went to her just because. TBH, I have absolutely no problems with the main character dying. It's just the way how they die. If Bosco died when he first got hit by the car, it's a lot more realistic than him driving off and then dying. But for the writer to make them have a final reunion then Bosco dying off is very corny. But hey, at least it's not a happy ending that TVB always give. Sad endings are good.. is just that they have to be written real good.
I loved this drama, the romantic aspect of it is very touching, being a fangirl of Bosco, I obviously hated the ending. But I must admit, the ending sent me in tears, hoping that Bosco would live. But no, TVB decided on a more mournful ending. The thing which really annoyed me is that they let Bosco drive off without any medical attention, with is stupid in my opinion, if he recieved medical attention immediately, he might have survived. It is also heartbreaking to see Linda holding Bosco in her arms at the end, they never really had a chance at all, I don'e even remember a kiss scene. grrr. I think that Linda deserved a better ending, after losing her brother and her dad, she lost Bosco too. The three men that she loved, which is the worst thing in my opinion. Of course, as I said I love Bosco, ('cause he so handsome), so it was painful seeing him just die like that, which I'm pretty sure that every Bosco fan girl would agree with. Maaaan, he is so georgeous. mmm. Ok, overall, I thought that this had a great stroyline, everything came together cleverly at the end, although I still disagree with Bosco's death, I think that it leaves a huge impact on the audience. And trust me, I will still be thinking about the ending tonight when I try to sleep. Didn't like the ending at all. Very corny...and after the all hyped up "love story" brewing, it ends in disappointment.
