has it died already? all i get now is spam -_-" jeez, and with facebook i think xanga has indeed, truely, died *sigh.. what's happened to blogging.. (now onto blogs in general...) i mean do ppl really treat their blogs like a diary? is it something that you would use to express yourself? for millions of strangers to read? i admit my blog isn't really a blog anymore, just something i type in now and again, the value of it has fallen throughout the years.. i used to write meaningful stuff, but now? pah. but i guess it's probably a reflection of my laziness/decline in being articulate over the years too if it was a written diary i wouldn't want anyone to see it, however we all seem happy to share it over the internet. funny that. or do people just use it as a means to share entertainment? like posting funny vids, etc.. ok so what really annoys me is how i get spam... g*daymn!!!! wtf,, why do ppl get a kick out of posting stupidass comments that really have no relevance what so ever, dicks. that's my rant.. so does anyone xanga? (i'll be in complete disbelief if noone does).. anything interesting to read hey?
Isn't this like some trend, like msn space,xanga, blogspot.... First it's fun, because everyone does it, but after a while you will find it boring... And you are putting alot less effort in it.... It's just like games,women and cars -lol
i duno, ive had it for years!... and no matter what, i keep going back to it...... but its probably now ive got proper stuff to do (academic wise) so i cant be bothered to use up all my brain power to write a meaningful and thoughtful entry lol

Facebook ain't no blog :\. I've given up on social networking sites. If I really want to keep in touch with someone, I'll have their phone + MSN. :\
I know tons of people in HK still use it, because a lot of my HK friends use it. hahah. I tried using it and I did for a couple of months, but then I forget to update. But i still do my mine. But I use to write what i did for the day or whatever when I was younger. and then now usually i use it to rant or write random stuff. it's pretty useless cause you dont want random people reading your deepest darkest secrets or whatever.
i do use xanga as a pre networking site mode of communication with more room for expression it's half a diary it's a public place to share your experiances in which you would tell other people normally, but can't or dont want to repeat yourself i still use mine
I still use my xanga, haha, but it's most like a blog to me. I guess facebook, blogspot and etc seems more as a 'blog + personal info' with millions of people. xD but xanga isn't dead..=D

i miss xanga -cry2 now everyone's all on facebook .. it just annoys me i think xanga was more than just having "friends" like on myspace/facebook
yeah i've refused to use facebook .. so when everyone is talking about blah blah on facebook, i'm like -huh?
Well, for xanga, it can be an online diary as well, because you can keep your posts 'private' so you can reread them by yourself at later times. As for facebook/myspace... those are more of a 'popularity contest' where so-and-so has 1023120 friends and flaunts their 980129 wall posts. I still use my xanga from time to time, mostly privating posts, or writing thoughts
lol when i used to xanga, i wanted to get the most props ^^ i actually liked xanga because i used it as a journal or diary 3 years ago. i would express my feelings and problems on there. it was really helpful. and reading the posts again, it somewhat weird.. i cant believe i was so stupid back then -i dont use xanga anymore. =( i use it to upload pictures and save pictures online =]
myspace is even more pointless... seriously what was the point of myspace? to show off your pictures? or to add good looking people? facebook was actually opened for only college students but i guess since myspace got so popular... they wanted to get more hits so they allowed everyone to join. then they tried to add more crap to make it interesting. i actually reconnected with my junior highschool friends from facebook.
ugh soon there will be references to facebook on tv and t-shirts that say "your mom is now my friend on facebook"
i never got a xanga account.....but now i have a facebook account mainly for pictures other people took with me in them
hmm.. i do use xanga to share special events with my friends ) sometimes itZzz nice, to c how other friends doing etc... i like xanga ))
