^ no to k-lite!!!! I don't recommend k-lite at all as it install so much crap on your pc (conflicting codecs) =p why here -> http://www.cccp-project.net/wiki/index.php?title=K-Lite_fails and maybe get XviD codec too for the encoding but you may not need it Edit: Jell took me a while but I've successfully encoded that Lunar file using xvid4psp to see if it is the file sooooooo its all you LOL (I've just waited for it to finish encoding video which is enough) I've only used simple settings and selected turbo cuz my laptop is shit and can't handle encoding I think its seriously that k-lite codec pack that is the cause of all your headaches -lol
Yeah I think you might be right...I'm not sure as to how to uninstall klite though because it doesn't show up in add or remove programs. Also, you encoded the avi version of the file I used the mkv.
^ I used the mkv version as the input file (as far as I know fansubbers won't encode a HD video in a avi container with XviD for various reasons and Lunar's avi version doesn't have that filename ), the THM - Encoding [Lunar] ..... line on the sceenshot above is showing the filename of the encoded output file. If you used the same file (Lunar - Eden East Episode 5 mkv file) + the same settings as my screen above, you should get the same line as what is on the screen above as you click the Encode button. As with the uninstall you can try re-installing the latest version of K-lite (thus giving it a fresh install as it overwrites old version) and see if it appears in the Add/Remove programs place. I suggest you don't manually remove it unless you know what your doing as you will also need to deal with the registry and the stuff K-lite placed in C:\windows\system32\.
i'm not sure if you still need this since you might have solved your codec problem, but here's the DDL link for ep 5. i encoded the original mkv file to avi hardware like the tutorial using 2-pass size. again, its not by lunar but by [gg]. i hope you resolve your issues for eden and FMA and any other media you have. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=NP6RWTOH
