i love eating dan tat. theres this place here in san francisco chinatown that is famous for it called golden gate bakery. http://www.yelp.com/biz/golden-gate-bakery-san-francisco#hrid:xu_k_0tLjWrVNUCcnnUzjQ/src:search/query:golden%20door i think it was like a dollar something. little expensive for one but worth it
ditto, you better order more than 1 or they look at you funny. but i would too, you cant just have one. i think what makes them stand out is the buttery flaky crust and the custard is very soft, almost like pudding.
how come you didnt order any May?? >.< it seemed as if i was the only one who loved it and Mui who loves it as well, refused to eat it. Vinnie was like "bleh, fine i'll eat it"
lol thats cos i prefer it from the cake bakery shop rather from restaurants XD an the day b4...i had it already lol..so didnt want it again sigh...i;m so extra
